See the Jaw-Dropping Panorama of New York at the Queens Museum
Looking for a fun neighborhood outing this weekend? Then head to the Queens Museum and see the famed Panorama of the City of New York, Robert Moses' scale model of the five boroughs, which includes every building and street in the city as of 1992!
The Panorama of the City of New York is the jewel in the crown of the collection of the Queens Museum and a must-see highlight for visitors from all over the globe. Conceived as a celebration of the City’s municipal infrastructure by urban mastermind and World’s Fair President Robert Moses for the 1964 Fair, the Panorama was built by a team of more than 100 people working for the great architectural model makers Raymond Lester & Associates over the course of three years. It’s a breathtaking feat of ingenuity that has been kept up with the progressive change of the city to display a complete view of New York in all its scale and glory!
At B' nai B'rith Queens Apartments in Flushing, New York, it is clear that we have it all, but we still feel obliged to inform you of all the events our community has scheduled. Please feel free to join in all of the fun at this event!
