Sit Face to Face with Famous Writer and Podcast Host, Deborah Treisman

The New Yorker’s Fiction Editor, Deborah Treisman has translated famous French authors and hosts an award-winning fiction podcast. She’ll talk about her experience and the book she co-authored, “The Dream Colony: A Life in Art”—her take on a biography of Walter Hopps, a gifted and idiosyncratic modern art curator and museum director of Washington’s Cocoran Gallery of Art.

The Writing Center’s special events are free, open to the public and take place at Hunter West, 3rd Floor Glass Cafe. A question and answer session plus book-signing and reception will follow most lectures.

At B’nai B’rith Queens Apartments in Flushing, New York, it is clear that we have it all, but we still feel obliged to inform you of all the events our community has scheduled. Please feel free to join in all of the fun at this event!
